Alton College offers a choice of over 150 courses to help you improve your personal skills on a professional level or to explore new leisure interests.
The College is committed to providing courses that offer a high quality learning experience that meets the needs of our learners. Choosing a course is an exciting and important decision. Please don’t worry if you haven’t studied for a long time or don’t have any formal qualifications; our friendly and approachable staff have the experience and expertise to support you to learn effectively and be successful. Whatever your previous experience, we can offer you the opportunity to develop your skills and confidence. The College offers learning support to students who require it. We continue to offer free information and guidance and many students, depending on their circumstances and the type of course undertaken, will be entitled to either fee reduction or free courses. Some students may also be entitled to receive the Adult Learning Grant (ALG) or help with fees through the Learner Support Fund, details of all of these opportunities can be found in this directory.
