Supporting Teaching and Learning

Do you work in a school? This qualification is for members of the school workforce who directly support the teaching and learning of pupils and will develop skills neccesary for work as a Teaching Assistant.

Foundation Degree Success

Twenty-one Alton College students graduated with honours on two Foundation Degree courses run in partnership with the University of Portsmouth this summer.  This was the first group of ten FdEng students to graduate from the course at Alton College and eleven students from the FdA Early Years Care and Education course also graduated on the same day.

Foundation Degree success

Tiffany Lee, former Amery Hill pupil, completed her Foundation Degree in Early Years Care and Education at Alton College. She went on to manage Little Me Day Nurseries, Basingstoke and recently won a Nursery World Award. Now a mum herself we caught up with her during her maternity leave.
