A visit from Richard Noble OBE

On Monday 18th June, the College was fortunate enough to welcome Richard Noble; OBE and former holder of the World Land Speed record at 533mph, to open our Engineering and Design Technology student product exhibition.

Our College has over 25 years' experience of quality engineering education. Each year, students are proud to exhibit the products they have created during their year-long projects. Pictured right is Jess Hung with the hammock she made as part of her Design & Technology: Resistant Materials course.

Richard opened the exhibition with a presentation about his current project, the Bloodhound SSC. Students and staff alike were fascinated by his thought-provoking and inspiring words.

The exhibition was open to the public during the evening but has now closed. Why not come along to our Art and Design exhibition next week too?
