Work Experience Mentor - Alton Campus

Havant and South Downs College are seeking to appoint a motivated and professional individual who has knowledge of all college provisions regarding full and part time offers and proven data entry experience, as a Work Experience Mentor at the Alton Campus.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of IT systems and a clear understanding of the priorities of work placements in the FE sector and the growth in the requirement of this area.

This post will involve the delivery of outstanding work placement provision, ensuring compliance from all curriculum areas to include work experience as a formal part of study programmes, coordination of the provision of work and volunteering placements for all students as directed and maintenance of databases, ensuring administrative duties are adhered to with regard to insurance, health and safety and DBS checking where relevant.

Applicants must be qualified to at least a Level 2 in English and Maths, have excellent IT skills and hold a Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent at Level 3 or above (or willingness to obtain).


£20,0979.72 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Hours of work: 
Part time 37 hours per week/ 40 weeks per year
