This week…….

  • Please note there will be no Careers drop-in session this Thursday (26th March). Careers drop ins usually take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1-2pm (no appointment required)
  • There will be no Sexual Health Clinic this week. The Sexual Health clinic normally takes place every Friday from 12.30-2pm

Health and Wellbeing Fair

  • Tuesday 31st March from 12-2pm in the Refectory

  • The College Chaplain will be holding an Easter Service on:

Challengers stand in the Refectory

  • Are you looking for Saturdays and Summer Holiday work that is fun and where you get the chance to meet fantastic children and young people?
  • Based at Alton College
  • Paid and volunteering opportunities available for people with a ridiculous enthusiasm for play and a commitment to promoting opportunities for disabled children and young people

General Election Hustings

  • Students are invited to attend the General Election Hustings in the Martin Read Hall on Tue 21st April from 1.00-2.00. The Prospective Parliamentary Candidates from the following parties will be attending:
    • Damian Hinds Conservative Party
    • Peter Bisset Green Party
    • Alex Wilks Labour Party
    • Richard Robinson Liberal Democrats
    • Peter Baillie UKIP
  • Each PPC will address the audience for 5 minutes followed by a ‘Question Time ’format.
  • The Hustings will be chaired by the out-going president of the Alton College Students’ Union and promises to be a lively debate.

Crash Course Politics

  • The SU are holding a politics information session next week

  • If you are 17+ and haven’t registered to vote yet – pop up to the LRC for help

  • The exciting event will enable Year 11's from Eggar’s and Amery to purchase unique prom outfits at fraction of the cost. All money raised goes to charity.

  • Please donate any items to Alton College Main Reception by Friday 27 March (Mon 30 March at absolute latest). Any money raised from items donated by Alton College will go to the AC Student Union's annual charities.
