You will study:

  • Human Lifespan Development (90 minute exam)
  • Working in Health and Social Care (90 minute exam)
  • Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs (coursework)
  • One other science-based unit (coursework)

It is recommended that students complete work experience/ volunteering whilst on the course

Studying at Alton College:

You will have a mixture of formal and less formal learning experiences. Some sessions will be in the form of lectures but you will also participate in a mixture of activities – whether working individually or in groups. You will participate in role plays, discussions and presentations.

Entry requirements:

9-6 grade profile at GCSE.

Alternatively, a merit or above at level 2.

Either maths or English GCSE grade 4 or above
