Studying at Alton College:

Lessons will take place in our specialist IT centre and will comprise a mix of theoretical and practical sessions. A selection of assignments and homework tasks will be set to cover the unit content. The assignments may be practical, research based or theoretical and may be linked to a period of work experience.

Entry requirements:

Students should normally have achieved at least five GCSEs at grade 9-4. For GCSEs which remain with the old grading system, a Grade 4 is equivalent to a Grade C. Alternatively, if you have studied at Level 2, you should have achieved a merit or above. Vocational courses are an ideal qualification for students who prefer coursework.
