BTEC First Diplomas are worth 4 C grade GCSEs when completed successfully. BTEC First Diplomas combine both practical and theoretical study. Students studying these courses combine them with English, Mathematics and IT at an appropriate level, whether that is GCSE, Key Skills or Functional Skills Level 2 or Level 1.
