The Big Band plays a number of gigs throughout the academic year. As well as playing in the usual end of them concert, recently they have played at the Swanage Jazz Festival [both 2008 & 2009], the Hawkley Beer Festival, the Jazz Cafe and in the summer – together with the Alton College Jazz Band, they tour a number of pub gardens in the surrounding area!
