Enrichment Activities Search

While at Alton, you will have the opportunity to take part in an amazing number of exciting enrichment activities alongside your main programme of study. We strongly encourage you to take part in one of these as it will not only enrich your time here, but will give you the chance to meet new friends, widen your interests and develop teamwork and leadership skills - all great for you personally, appreciated by universities and employers and will look good on your C.V.

Generally, THERE ARE NO EXAMS INVOLVED in the Enrichment programme.

We specialise in enrichments in Music and Sport and our facilities are second-to-none. Our Sports Centre provides a sports hall and fitness room which you can use, once you have had an induction session. Our Music Department encourages students who are currently studying music as well as those who are not, to take part in the many enrichments on offer with expert tuition from experienced teachers.

To compliment these two major enrichments, we have a great programme of courses to choose from which is diverse in content and ranges from Dance (Salsa, Break-dancing, etc) to Car Mechanics, with Languages and Speed Typing thrown into the mix.
