Student Life

Alton College is a lively and caring community. You will be joining us from school to get your qualifications and to make the step up to university or employment but we also want you to look back on your time with us as one of the best of your life.

When you want to relax and meet people there is a range of social places available including a Refectory serving hot meals, a shop selling snacks, drinks, confectionery and stationery, the fitness room and attractive grounds.

Meanwhile, the Students' Union (elected by you) ensures your voice is heard by the Principal and Governing Body. The Union arranges social events such as charity days, Battle of the Bands, student parties and the Leavers' Event. The Students' Union encourages and coordinates support for local, national and international charities.

NUS Card

When you come to College in September, you'll get the chance to buy your NUS extra card which gives you discount on clothes, food, cinema tickets and loads more.
